I’m a multidisciplinary artist with over a decade of experience in illustration, tattooing, digital painting, and large-format fine art. Born in Prague, my artistic journey began in childhood, winning my first competition in kindergarten and later earning money through commissioned portraits during high school. After graduating from a Prague art school with a degree in graphic design, I expanded into tattooing.

Each expansion of my art reflects my own personal and spiritual journeys. From illustrating the book Zmrdztvýchvstání to exploring shamanism, to erotic drawings and commissioned paintings. My intuitive, technically skilled approach blends emotional insight with refined craftsmanship. The design I created represents Týnský chrám, blending with waves – waves of water, energy, or plasma. It's up to each viewer to interpret them. What matters is that they convey a sense of movement and drama, reflecting the spiritual history and background of this place.

When I moved to Prague in 2015 from the US, I was so taken with the beauty and charm of this city, and it was (and is) a huge artistic inspiration for me. Within a year of arriving here, I started drawing and painting, initially experimenting with many different mediums and techniques before finding a love of watercolor.

Joining the Queer Creative Collective in 2018, I began to paint and draw more than ever, and began exploring more personal themes like identity, belonging, and mental health. I also found the courage to share some of my art online, on @mel.made.art on Instagram.

In summer of 2025, I was very excited to be invited to join the Prague Design Club, as this was my first commerical art project. I chose to create my designs using digital tools and it was a great experience, I hope to explore the medium further in the future.

Originally from Spain, I've called Prague home for about 12 years now.

Although I occasionally sketch on my phone, I much prefer the tactile experience of creating detailed sketches with pen and paper. My usual palette is black and white, though sometimes I'll venture into color. I also really enjoy drawing comic characters. I don't have any formal artistic background; my journey with drawing simply began when I was a small kid. Although I draw less than I used to and I’m sometimes my harshest critic, I still love doing it.

My design is inspired by Týn Church’s bold lines and gothic charm. I don’t usually draw buildings, but I like how it stands watch over Old Town Square.

When I'm not designing, you'll likely find me wandering the charming backstreets of Prague or indulging my fascination with space and science.
